Nancy O’Neill started making pottery on a whim when she took a six-week course with a good friend. Many years later, she is still taking lessons, learning her trade, and teaching classes at Womanspace. She loves the feel of clay between her hands, as well as thef joy of glazing a piece of pottery.”
Her mother taught her to embroider at an early age. It was something she and Nancy would do together. She feels it’s sort of a lost art.
Nancy began volunteering at Inscape long before the shop and community room actually opened. She says, “Inscape Collective is a wonderful, peaceful place for art and sharing, run by a great group of women.”
